What you need
- Body tape (used in “inches”)
- One assistant (We suggest you find one assistant to facilitate the measurement)
Jacket
Shoulder – measure from the shoulder to bend in shape of the back from left to right.
Front shoulders – measure from the left armpit to the right armpit in the front.
Back shoulder – measure from the left armpit to the right armpit at the back.
Waist – measure around the waist area, which is usually slightly above the navel.
Chest – measure the fullest chest area at the chest area.
Jacket hips – measure the width of the hips.
Upper arm – measure around the arm under the armpit or the most significant spot.
jacket length – measure from base of the back neck to bottom to cover the bottom or as your preferred length of the jacket.
Sleeve – measure from shoulder down to the wrist and lower wrist bone 1 inch or as your preferred length of the jacket.
Pants
Waist – measure from the waist level when you wear regular pants. You should measure to fit correctly to your size.
Hips – measure the wildest buttocks.
Crotch – measure from the front edge of the pants around the crotch to the backside.
Thigh – measure the thigh area.
Pants length – measure from the edge of the pants to the desired length. (Usually, the length of the legs is half the heels)
